Introduction
The diagram illustrates the stages involved in the manufacturing of instant coffee, from the harvesting of coffee beans to the final packaging into jars.
Overview
Overall, a total of 11 steps are required to make instant coffee, which can be divided into human-performed stages and machine-operated processes. Most of the process is automated by machinery.
Body Paragraph 1
First, coffee beans are harvested by hand and dried, then roasted in specialized ovens before being cooled rapidly. Subsequently, the beans are ground into powder and mixed with hot water. After that, the mixture is strained and the filtered substance is frozen.
Body Paragraph 2
In the next stage, the frozen mixture is ground once more and then dried in a vacuum to completely remove all moisture. Finally, the dried instant coffee powder is packed into jars and transported to shops for sale.
